Mitsubishi Ductless Split System Outdoor Condensing Unit
Mitsubishi Ductless Split System Outdoor Condensing Unit

This is a great example of how compact the Mitsubishi condensing units are for the ductless split systems.  Ductless splits are perfect for many types of installation needs, they use little space and are so quiet you’d swear it wasn’t running.  This project is a commercial application at the Trilogy Building in Hagerstown, MD.

I’ll update this post once the indoor unit is finished to give you a full picture of what the system looks like installed.  They are perfect for commercial and residential properties and require very little maintenance.

When Customers and Employees Come First, Good Things Happen: M.S. Johnston Co. Inc., Hagerstown, Md

msjohnston

From its humble beginnings in 1932 as a home appliance and can milk repair company, M.S. Johnston Co. Inc., has grown into two distinct and successful components—an HVAC division, which provides residential, commercial, institutional and industrial design and installation, and a food service refrigeration division, which offers a full line of commercial and institutional food storage, preparation and serving equipment. Major projects have included shopping centers, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, computer centers, nursing homes, large office buildings, schools and governmental facilities.

M.S. Johnston credits much of its success with the long tenure of its employees, with many staying with the company for 15 years or more. “The health and happiness of our employees is a high priority for management,” says Michael S. Johnston, the firm’s president and COO. “Our employees receive regular training/instruction to maintain the high standards and quality of work MSJ is known for.”

Within the community, MSJ contributes to numerous local charities for both people and animals in need, as well as helping to collect unused bicycles for reuse worldwide. It recently donated a new industrial refrigerator for St. Mark’s Food Bank in Hagerstown.

M.S. Johnston also has the distinction of being one of the world’s oldest York equipment dealerships: The company first began distributing York air conditioners in 1939.
